Over 175 years old, The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society motivates people to improve their quality of life and create a sense of community through horticulture. They manage the largest and oldest indoor Flower Show,“The Philadelphia Flower Show”, Philadelphia Green, and numerous other groundbreaking urban beautification programs.
• Assisted in all aspects of publication production; writing, editing, fact checking, research, mentoring new authors, and locating photographs/art.
• Green Scene Magazine, The Philadelphia Flower Show Program
• Philadelphia Green Newsletter, The Annual Report, PHS Newsletter, Showtime, Philadelphia Flower Show Newsletter
• Served as Circulation manager for Green Scene; customer service, correspondence and fulfillment of 8,000 subscribers and 12,000 Arboretum subscribers. Designed and implemented circulation database.
• Solicited, billed and maintained all advertising and vendor accounts. Maintained department budget (bookkeeping, reporting, planning).
