Winters can be quiet when you are a horticulturalist. While working at a seed company, I spent my winters correcting and editing seed packets and catalogs to make sure the directions and descriptions, although brief, were as accurate as possible. To this day, I can’t resist flipping over a seed packets (or flipping through a catalog) and, with a red pen, making a few corrections. I am very proud of my contribution. Seed packets are often inaccurate. We even ran tests in the greenhouse to double check and improve our work. Samples available upon request.
