In the midst of a terrible January snow storm(2009), several local friends and I decided to start the Twisted Vines garden club. This is a new organization dedicated to developing a social network among gardeners and those interested in being "Green" in the South End neighborhood of Boston. We share information and learn about what you can do to make a difference. Meetings are held twice monthly at noon in the South End Public Library, 687 Tremont in the upstairs room. We are working in conjunction with South End Lower Roxbury Open Space Land Trust and those wonderful people in charge of the South End Garden Tour. We are hoping to expand into a website and online forum for Boston gardeners in Spring 2009. So please check back for more info.
