The creative energy that goes into working with something as visually stimulating as plants tends to spill over into the other parts of my life. I love to design and create beautiful things, it seems to me a natural extension of my daily work. Although I have little formal design training, a day does not pass without some painting, drawing, or other project happening in my home. Here are a few of my projects; some work related some just for fun.

Getting the word out is an important aspect of any job or project. The internet can be a wonderful place to organize your thoughts and really polish your message. These are a few websites I have created for friends, projects and organizations.

My appreciation for photography has grow immensely through the years. With a subject like nature there is an almost inexhaustible supply of material, using my camera has changed the way I see things. This is a small sampling of photos I have taken for both work and pleasure. All photos are copyrighted and can be licensed for a small fee - just ask.

One of the first things I try to do before starting a project is put together a photo board with ideas for logos, colors, etc., to organize my thoughts. Working this way has saved me countless hours, dollars and facilitated communication, wether it is redoing a room in our house or working with a committee on a fundraiser.
