Television

I did not intend to become a segment producer for television, I sort of fell into it after being a guest on the gardening show Cultivating Life. I had a great support team in Lee Buttala (Director and the most sophisticated gardener I know) and Cynthia Treen (Craft Producer and amazing human), they showed me the ropes. I feel very lucky to have had a peak into the world of styling, producing and writing for television.

Cultivating Life, Guest and Garden Segment Producer (2009-2012)

This PBS television series with host Sean Conway explored how we all moved from our houses into our backyards. Each week, the series celebrated how Americans were reconnecting to the land providing simple solutions and timely ideas for outdoor living, cooking, gardening, and entertaining.

“Erin is a can-do kind of gal. Erin started producing segments for Season 4 and is eager to start filming Season 5. Her specialties are garden and nature segments but she is very qualified in the world of crafts as well. She does all of this while raising her handsome son, Grady, who is a staff favorite. -Sean Conway”
