Nature Journaling

Posted

Naturalist, John Muir used his journals to record detailed sketches and information about the plants, animals, and landscapes he observed on his daily treks. Muir’s journals provided him with a wealth of recorded experiences from which ten books and over two hundred articles were published. Today, we continue to be inspired from Muir’s daily writings.

Creating a nature journal provides you with an opportunity to study and develop a greater awareness of your surroundings. Below is an example of my observations on just one day in the Great Swamp.
